Mercedes is celebrating AMG's 45th anniversary by releasing new details about the company's future.

Under the "AMG Performance 50" strategy, the brand will roll out several new models including the A45 AMG. The company declined to go into specifics, but hinted there will be new variants based on the next-generation S-Class.

All-wheel drive will also play an important role in AMG's future as the company has promised to offer the system on non-crossover models. The first such vehicle will be the A45 AMG which debuts in early next year.

To improve customer relations, AMG will construct a new delivery hall which will enable owners to take receipt of their cars in Affalterbach. As part of the program, owners will be given a tour of the AMG Performance Studio and the engine production facility.

Speaking of engines, AMG will handle the development and construction of the next-generation Mercedes V12. There's no word on when they will arrive, but they will be built under the "one man, one engine" philosophy.
