We've already seen the 3-Series sedan (F30), but here's the latest spy photos of the upcoming Touring variant (F31).

Recently snapped undergoing testing, the model is heavily camouflaged but will adopt the sedan's controversial front end. Out back, things are a little more traditional as there's a sloping roofline which blends into a rear tailgate with an integrated spoiler.

Overall, the model is slightly larger than its predecessor so expect an accommodating rear seat and added cargo capacity.

Engine options will carryover from the sedan, so there should be a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol with outputs of 184 PS (135 kW / 181 bhp) and 245 PS (180 kW / 241 bhp) as well as a 3.0-liter inline-six with 320 PS (235 kW / 315 bhp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. On the diesel side, we can expect a 2.0-liter unit producing 143 PS (105 kW / 141 bhp) and 184 PS (135 kW / 181 bhp).
