The crossover craze doesn't show any signs of slowing down and Opel is looking to capitalize on that momentum by introducing a new range-topping model.
Set to be launched in 2015, the premium crossover would reportedly be based on the Insignia and feature an increased ride height as well as optional all-wheel drive. Styling would draw inspiration from the Citroen DS5, but the model would also adopt design elements from the Zafira.
Interestingly, Auto Express says the model could also be headed to the United States as a Buick. This seems to imply the crossover could be the next-generation Enclave which has been previously rumored to be offered on both sides on the Atlantic. However, those reports indicated the redesigned Enclave - also due in 2015 - would ride on a revised version of the current Lamba platform.
