Last week, some pretty nice Toyota concepts were unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon that has left a good positive impression. Take for example the Prius GT300 race car or perhaps the supercharged Toyota iQ. Unfortunately that has all been ruined because at the very same show, this hideous creation has also been unveiled. The Toyota Prius camper van that you see before you is real and available to order from an aftermarket custom car company based in Nagano, Japan.

The crazy creation has received a composite FRP (fibre reinforced plastic) shell which extends the Prius' length by 520mm (20 inches) but more importantly adds 560mm (22 inches) to the height. It results in enough room for four adults to sleep, two people can sleep up above and after folding down the rear passenger seats – a further two can sleep below.
