Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster Kaiju combines off-road traditions from around the world
Built in Australia with UK bones and Japanese influence.
Ineos Automotive’s Australian team has unleashed the Kaiju Quartermaster, a one-of-a-kind creation that takes the Grenadier Quartermaster Cab Chassis and transforms it into something straight out of a Mad Max fever dream. Named after the Japanese word for “giant monster,” this beast is part tribute to Australia’s love for souped-up Japanese 4x4s and part demonstration of what happens when you give engineers free rein with a pile of off-road goodies. All based on a rugged UK-developed off-roader.
Clad in a stealthy, all-black exterior that practically growls, the Kaiju Quartermaster is designed to dominate both the wild and the imagination. Based on the Quartermaster Cab Chassis – a pickup trick already praised for its off-road chops and workhorse capabilities – this special build amps things up by partnering with some of the best names in the aftermarket game. Think Norweld, Rhino-Rack, BF Goodrich, and MAXTRAX, to name just a few.
Ineos Kaiju Quartermaster
The Kaiju Quartermaster isn’t just about looking tough; it’s packed with features that make it a functional beast. Take the Norweld Elite Tray and Compact Deluxe Lite Canopy, for instance. It’s lightweight, dustproof, and water-resistant – essential for braving Australia’s harshest terrain without breaking a sweat. And then there’s the Brown Davis long-range fuel tank, which boosts capacity to a whopping 258 litres.
Inside, the theme continues. Thanks to Redarc’s tech wizardry, it comes with an advanced battery management system, including a 150A lithium battery and a pure sine wave inverter. Translation? The Kaiju can handle all your off-grid power needs, whether you’re running a campsite fridge or charging your gadgets deep in the bush.
Here’s where Ineos really throws a spanner in the works of traditional customisation anxiety: they’ll cover select aftermarket components under the vehicle’s warranty if ordered through official channels. So, if you deck out your Grenadier or Quartermaster with gear from their trusted partners, you can hit the dirt knowing you’re backed by a warranty as tough as your rig.
While you can’t buy this exact truck, the Kaiju Quartermaster will be making the rounds at events across Australia, showing off just how far you can take a Grenadier.
