Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Angel has been writing about cars, motorsport, and basically everything that has wheels since 2011. Still a student at the time (Transportation Engineering), his first job as a writer was for the local edition of the F1 Racing magazine (now GP Racing magazine), followed by a few other small sites and magazines.
Just a couple of months later, he started writing for Autoclub.bg, one of the country's leading automotive websites. Then, in early 2013, he joined the international editorial team of WorldCarFans.com, which brought him to Motor1.com from the site's very beginning.
Currently, he is writing news for the US/Global edition of Motor1.com on a daily basis. He's been a member of the Bulgarian COTY jury since 2013.
Angel likes big, rational, comfortable, and practical cars with plenty of torque. Hence his history of owning only station wagons so far.
