BMW has quietly introduced the M3 Carbon Edition coupe in China.
Following hot on the heels of the M3 Matte Edition, the unique model has an exclusive appearance with a black grille, side body stripes, front bumper with black carbon accents, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, designers added two-tone leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and special badging.
Like the standard model, power comes from a 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 420 PS (309 kW / 414 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
Production will be limited to 111 units and pricing starts at 1.23 million yuan ($189,727,000 / €131,303,240).
