Peugeot's latest new car isn't actually real
The new L750 R Hybrid has been designed for the new Gran Turismo Playstation game.
Peugeot has unveiled its latest new car, except it isn't actually real. Designed specifically for the new Gran Turismo Sport video game, the Peugeot L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo will exist entirely digitally and offers a teensy glimpse into the French marque's future.
Its unveiling comes a year on from the uncovering of the Peugeot L500 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo, another Gran Turismo exclusive.
The Peugeot L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo is 'equipped' with both a petrol engine that is good for 572bhp on its own and a 168bhp electric motor, which means the car produces a combined 740bhp.
The concept also features a innovative dual-circuit hydraulic braking system with four ventilated carbon discs, and independent front and rear suspension which automatically adjusts the car's ride height depending on speed. A carbonfibre structure and forged-magnesium wheels means the L750 R weighs just 825kg.
Except it isn't real. Must remember that.
Gamers can get behind the wheel of the Peugeot L750 R Hybrid Vision Gran Turismo on the Playstation 4-exclusive Gran Turismo Sport video game, which is set for European release on 18 October 2017.
