Jaguar 2025: All the upcoming models

2025 will see the launch of the production model based on the Type 00. It will have very similar proportions and a range of 478 miles.

From words to deeds, 2025 will be a pivotal year for Jaguar, which after a much-discussed marketing campaign, is preparing to launch the first model in its new direction. Based on the much-hyped Type 00 concept, it will represent a new beginning for the brand, radically changing its design language and positioning.

Compared to the prototype, the production car (as yet unnamed) will retain most of its distinctive features, while adopting more realistic proportions, such as a reduced front overhang and taller body.

Elements such as the horizontal stripes at the front and rear, the new brand logo and aerodynamic shapes remain confirmed, as do modern details such as flush door handles and large alloy wheels.

A special feature will be the absence of a rear window, replaced by reversing cameras, a solution already seen on other innovative models such as the Polestar 4.

The fastback will be built on the new Jaguar Electrified Architecture (JEA) platform, designed exclusively for the brand and not shared with Land Rover. Featuring an 800-volt architecture, it will enable ultra-fast recharging: more than 186 miles of range recovered in just 15 minutes.

Jaguar is aiming for a maximum range of around 478 miles (WLTP cycle), probably thanks to batteries with a capacity in excess of 100 kWh. The range will include rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, but details of power levels have not yet been revealed.

It will cost at least £100,000, and there will be no shortage of customisation options, following in the footsteps of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. After the fastback based on the Type 00 will come a crossover based on the same platform, which could also be announced in 2025.
