Looking for a gift idea? Arden A-Type based on Jaguar for sale
The ex-press car is the perfect Christmas present for cat lovers
There are always opportunities to acquire very special vehicles. One of these opportunities is now, just before Christmas of all times, because the Arden A-Type is an exclusive one-off for sale. This special car is not only rare because it is an Arden, but the German-British car was actually built especially for presentations and as a press vehicle.
The Arden A-Type, a modified Jaguar XKR X100, offers a successful combination of performance and high-quality design and is currently for sale. This vehicle has made a name for itself as a former presentation vehicle and has been featured in several press articles. The equipment is of course exorbitant.

The Arden A-Type is equipped with a powerful 4.4-litre engine that generates 462 PS. Thanks to optimised intercooling, the engine delivers both more power and comparatively good efficiency. The chassis technology has been specially developed by Arden to improve both dynamics and ride comfort. The Arden braking system ensures a high level of safety and reliability in sporty driving conditions.
The exterior design of the rare vehicle is emphasised by a striking front apron, dynamic side skirts and a distinctive rear apron. An integrated spoiler and customised mirrors complete the overall look and also improve the vehicle's aerodynamics. According to Arden, these design elements not only contribute to the visual appeal, but also have a positive effect on driving stability.
A special aspect of the Arden A-Type is the specially developed exhaust system, which not only enhances performance but also emphasises the sound of the powerful V8 engine. Inside, the vehicle impresses with high-quality materials and ergonomically designed Recaro sports seats. Lots of brown leather and burl wood give the interior a very British feel.
With a mileage of just 110,000 km (68,350 miles), this Arden A-Type is in very good condition and has been regularly serviced. The vehicle offers the opportunity to acquire a piece of automotive heritage, which could certainly be of great interest to enthusiasts and collectors. However, a price has not yet been announced.
Incidentally, Arden was founded in 1972 by Jochen Arden in Germany and quickly became synonymous with high-quality modifications of British vehicles, particularly Jaguar and Land Rover. Originally started as a small tuning company, Arden specialised in the refinement and performance enhancement of these vehicles.
