Now you can park your Bugatti in style
In collaboration with Fahrengold, Bugatti has created CarPad, special illuminated stages where you can store your hypercar.
Owning a Bugatti is for a select few. Millions and millions of pounds have been invested in cars whose production has been reduced to the bare essentials. 450 Veyron were created, 500 Chiron left the Molsheim factory plus a few handfuls of Mistral, Divo, Centodieci and Bolide pending the arrival of the Tourbillon. That's barely 1,000 units just to give you an idea of the efficiency with which French hypercars constitute the ultimate elite of the motoring world.
Owners keep them jealously guarded in their super-protected garages, and some owners make no secret of the fact, flooding social media with photos and videos of their Bugattis. It is for them that the French manufacturer, in collaboration with Fahrengold, has created the FG-01. The perfect place to park your hypercar.
16-cylinder jewels
These are large parallelepipeds with glass walls. It's basically a huge box to store your Bugatti, a bit like a very expensive 1:1 scale model perhaps to be placed at the entrance of your home to welcome your guests in the best possible way. It's similar to how the British royal family display their jewellery. In the case of the Bugatti, you don't even have to pay for the ticket.

Of course, the FG-01 shows itself but remains inaccessible to criminals with burglar-proof glass, galvanised steel and aluminium structure, cameras, smoke detection and wall-breach detection system. You can sleep soundly without fear of your car being at the mercy of criminals.
Of course, it's not all completely bare inside. There are cupboards where you can keep your racing suit for those moments when you feel like a driver, your helmet or whatever. Oh, and the doors are covered in blue leather, with the manufacturer's logo on them. Then there are shelves for memorabilia and souvenirs, and everything is controlled not only by anti-theft systems, but also by temperature and humidity regulators, so maybe you can leave a few cigars in there. Oh, and there's no shortage of special lighting systems. The key is to attract attention even when the engine is switched off.

Then there's the question of price. If you ask us, we know the answer: you probably can't afford it. On the other hand, neither you nor I have a Bugatti in the garage. And while its 6.15 metre length allows you to park an estate and a smart fortwo, I don't think Molsheim is likely to take an order - or rather a request - from someone who has never bought one of its cars. If, on the other hand, you drive a Veyron, Chiron or similar every day, well listen... you're in luck.
