Bugatti begins on-track testing for the £3.5m Bolide hypercar
Ahead of its anticipated production, Bugatti perfects the Bolide at high-speeds on the race track.
The Bugatti Bolide is a concept that stands out as a lightweight hypercar designed for track use only, featuring an aerodynamic body that welcomes Bugatti owners to the world of customer racing. With plans on only producing 40 cars for the most passionate Bugatti clientele, the sold-out hypercar series comes with a price tag of €4 million (approx. £3.5 million).
On schedule with its development, Bugatti took to its Instagram page to announce its progress with the Bolide and its current on-track testing phase. Photographed in its natural race element, Bugatti gives the world an in-depth look at the full-carbon race car in its intended environment.
Before production occurs at the legendary Molsheim factory, Bugatti will continue gruelling circuit days to perfect the power and aerodynamics of the Bolide. The Bolide produces a staggering 1,824 bhp and 1,364 lb-ft of torque using Bugatti's 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine. This allows the car to reach an incredible top speed of over 311 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds.
The Bolide is a testament to Bugatti's engineering prowess and commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive technology and design. The 40 lucky Bugatti Bolide customers can expect production to begin on their vehicles next year. View all current Bugatti examples for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking the link below.
