It’s that time of year again, folks—Monterey Car Week is here. The first major events officially kick off Wednesday, August 12, with festivities continuing throughout the weekend.
As expected, automakers and low-volume manufacturers alike are already descending on Monterey with million-dollar hypercars, V12-powered supercars, and wild restomods in tow. Some of these cars we’ve already seen, while others will remain under wraps until later in the week.
Aston Martin, Bugatti, Hennessey, and Lamborghini are all bringing something special to Monterey, with many of the biggest debuts scheduled for The Quail on August 14. We’ll keep this story updated as we learn more, but for now, here’s everything you need to know about the biggest new cars coming to Monterey Car Week. (This story will be updated with more info as we get it.)
Acura Nexera Concept
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Acura unveiled the Nexera Concept at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, giving us a look at the brand’s next-generation design language. The concept features dramatic bodywork, butterfly doors, and hidden lighting incorporating Acura’s signature A-Mark logo. Fun fact: It’s also the first Acura with center-locking wheels.
While the Nexera itself isn’t headed for production, its design will help inspire the next-generation RDX Hybrid. The new lighting signature in particular will play a major role in the upcoming crossover’s design.
While it may not be the next NSX we’ve been waiting for, the Nexera is at least a lovely look at what’s to come.
Aston Martin DB12 S Tribute

Aston Martin DB12 S Special Edition Monterey
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Aston Martin brought a trio of highly customized DB12 S models to Monterey Car Week as a tribute to the racing heritage of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Created by the automaker’s Q bespoke division, the three cars take inspiration from a trio of Aston Martin DB2 race cars that competed in the early 1950s.
Each DB12 S features Carbon Black paint with its own accent color—Rosso Red, Speed Yellow, or Ellwood Blue—along with “75” graphics celebrating the 75th Pebble Beach Concours. Inside, there’s matching contrast stitching, DB2 silhouette embroidery, special “75” graphics, painted paddle-shifter tips, and bespoke sill plaques.
Aston Martin will also showcase the limited-run Vanquish 25 Special Edition at Monterey Car Week, marking 25 years since the original V12 Vanquish debuted.
Aston Martin Valen
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Aston Martin unveiled the Valen at Monterey Car Week, the latest—and wildest—addition to its ultra-exclusive Q lineup. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 producing 838 horsepower, the Valen is the most powerful front-engine production car ever.
Unlike the manual Valour and Valiant that came before it, the Valen uses an eight-speed ZF automatic transaxle with shift programming derived from Aston Martin's Vantage GT4 race car. Aston has also gone to extreme lengths to cut weight, using a full carbon-fiber body, magnesium wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, and an optional lightweight suspension package. T
Only 150 examples will be built, with pricing expected to start around $2 million before Q personalization. That's a lot of money, but the Valen certainly looks the part of a two-million-dollar V12 villain car.
Bentley Stazione Remota

When: Now / August 14
Where: Stazione Remota / The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Bentley is going all-in on Monterey Car Week this year, with eight different appearances spread across the peninsula. The centerpiece is a new invite-only gathering called Stazione Remota in Carmel Valley, created with Tutto Bene, Race Service, and design studio BorromeodeSilva. The event will combine cars, food, music, and test drives in a more relaxed setting aimed at a younger generation of enthusiasts.
Bentley will also bring some serious hardware, including the new Continental Supersports in a dramatic Dragon livery and the Bentayga X concept, which previews a more off-road-focused take on the luxury SUV. The historic 1926 Bentley 3 Litre Super Sports known as "Smoky" will also be on display, alongside a special Bentayga featuring a working espresso bar.
Beyond Stazione Remota, Bentley will return to its Home of Bentley near Pebble Beach, as well as The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, and several other events throughout the week. With new concepts, historic racers, special editions, and plenty of cultural programming, Bentley is making one of its biggest pushes yet at Monterey Car Week.
BMW X5s By Kith
When: TBA
Where: TBA
Kith and BMW are taking the X5 somewhere it has never gone before: a V10-powered manual transmission. The collaboration pairs the first-generation E53 X5 with the 5.0-liter S85 V10 from the E60 M5, producing 500 horsepower and sending it through a six-speed manual while retaining the SUV’s original all-wheel-drive system.
The 2000 X5 has also received a complete rotisserie restoration, with Kith founder Ronnie Fieg saying the project took more than a year to develop. Alongside it, Kith and BMW will unveil a new 2027 X5 finished in Frozen Titanium Silver, a color inspired by the restored E53 that won't be available on the regular production model.
Both X5s will make their public debut at Monterey Car Week later this week.
Bugatti Destrier
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Bugatti brought its newest hypercar to Monterey: The Destrier. Based on the track-only Bolide, the Destrier is the third one-off from the automaker’s exclusive Programme Solitaire, following the Brouillard and FKP Hommage before it.
Unlike the Bolide, though, Destrier wasn’t designed for the track. This road-legal hypercar ditches most of the Bolide’s aggressive aerodynamics for svelte bodywork instead. It sits on 20- and 21-inch wheels, and stands at just 39.4 inches tall—the lowest of any Bugatti ever created. It also packs Bugatti’s signature quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, making 1,578 horsepower.
The Bugatti Destrier will debut on August 14 at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
Cadillac Celestiq Night Test

Cadillac Celestiq Night Test

When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Cadillac is giving its flagship Celestiq a darker personality with the new Night Test. This one-off commission swaps the usual bright finishes and chrome for a dark Caspia Tricoat Metallic exterior, dark wheels, and a more subdued look overall.
The monochromatic theme continues inside with Backen Black and Sheer Gray leather, along with carbon-fiber and brushed-metal trim. Beneath the bespoke styling, it remains mechanically identical to the regular Celestiq, with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 655 horsepower and 646 pound-feet of torque.
The Celestiq Night Test is a true one-off, hand-assembled at Cadillac's Artisan Center in Michigan. It made its public debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, during Monterey Car Week.
Cadillac V-One Concept

Cadillac V-One Concept
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Cadillac unveiled the V-One Concept at The Quail, and it might be our first look at a future customer race car based on the brand’s V-Series.R endurance racer. The concept packs an 830-horsepower hybrid V8 and shares much of its hardware with the race car.
Developed by Cadillac Design, the V-One keeps the V-Series.R’s proportions and race-inspired aerodynamics while making the car easier to operate than an actual LMDh racer. Inside, there’s exposed carbon fiber, a custom-fit seat, and a race-style steering wheel with a digital display that provides driver feedback and coaching.
Cadillac calls the V-One a “concept study,” so there’s no guarantee it will reach production. But we’ve got our fingers crossed.
Curated By Cadillac

Cadillac Escalade IQ
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Cadillac is taking personalization to a new level with Curated by Cadillac, a bespoke program that lets Escalade IQ buyers create a truly one-of-a-kind SUV. Customers can choose from more than 160 exterior colors and 44 interior colors, along with multiple paint finishes and custom interior treatments.
The program goes well beyond picking a color, though. Each Escalade IQ is hand-painted and hand-built by Cadillac artisans, with every vehicle receiving its own unique VIN and serialized builder’s plate. Buyers also get a dedicated Cadillac concierge to guide them through the entire process, bringing a little of the ultra-exclusive Celestiq experience to Cadillac’s electric SUV.
Curated by Cadillac costs an additional $54,995 and is exclusive to the Escalade IQ (for now). Cadillac will showcase the program and its bespoke Escalade IQ at Monterey Car Week.
Czinger 21C Spyder

Czinger 21C Spyder
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Czinger unveiled the 21C Spyder at The Quail, an open-top version of its wild hybrid hypercar with 1,250 horsepower and a $2.8 million starting price. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V8 paired with three electric motors, allowing the Spyder to hit 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds.
But the biggest news might be hiding behind the wheels. The 21C Spyder introduces Czinger's new BrakeNode system, which combines the suspension upright, brake caliper, and hydraulic passages into a single component. The setup cuts 1.5 pounds of unsprung mass per wheel, while Czinger claims it can reduce stopping distances by up to 15 percent.
Czinger plans to build just 30 examples, all by hand at its Los Angeles facility, making this already outrageous hypercar an extremely exclusive one, too.
Eccentrica V12 Roadster

Eccentrica V12 Roadster
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Eccentrica has unveiled its latest restomod: the V12 Roadster. This is an open-air evolution of its reimagined first-generation Lamborghini Diablo. The roofless supercar combines the styling of the 1990s icon with more than 3,500 bespoke components and modern engineering.
Power comes from a reworked 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 550 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. It sends power through a six-speed gated manual transmission, while a 208-mph top speed and three driving modes give the Roadster plenty of performance.
The Roadster also gets a widened track, carbon-fiber structural reinforcements, redesigned suspension, semi-active dampers, hydraulic steering, and Brembo brakes. Eccentrica will build just 19 examples, each individually configured for its owner, with the car making its public debut August 14 at The Quail.
Ferrari CZ26

Ferrari CZ26
When: August 13
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Ferrari unveiled the CZ26, a one-off supercar created through its Special Projects program for a US customer. Based on the SF90 Stradale, the CZ26 keeps the donor car’s plug-in hybrid powertrain but wraps it in completely bespoke bodywork designed by Ferrari’s Flavio Manzoni-led design team.
Underneath, the CZ26 retains the SF90’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 making 786 horsepower, along with electric motors. Ferrari quotes a 2.5-second 0-to-62-mph time and a 204-mph top speed.
Finished in a unique Argento Veloce silver, the CZ26 is less about extracting more performance from the SF90 and more about giving one wealthy customer something nobody else can buy. Mission accomplished.
Gordon Murray S1

Gordon Murray Special Vehicles S1
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Gordon Murray Special Vehicles unveiled the S1 at The Quail, a road-focused sibling to the more extreme S1 LM. It takes the same basic carbon-fiber architecture but ditches the giant fixed wing, front splitter, and other aggressive aero bits for a cleaner design with active rear aerodynamics.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter Cosworth V12 producing up to 681 horsepower and revving to an incredible 12,100 rpm. It sends power through a six-speed manual transmission.
Only 64 examples of the S1 will be built worldwide, and all of them have already been spoken for. Gordon Murray hasn't disclosed pricing, but considering the car's bespoke construction, screaming V12, manual gearbox, and McLaren F1-inspired philosophy, it's safe to say this isn't exactly an affordable way to go grand touring.
Gunther Werks GXR-Evo

Gunther Werks GXR-Evo

When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Gunther Werks unveiled the GXR-Evo, its most extreme 993-based creation yet. The track-focused machine starts life as a Porsche 911 but gets a full carbon-fiber body, aggressive aerodynamics, a massive rear wing, Brembo Pista brakes, magnesium center-lock wheels, and a shark-fin-style rear section.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six developed with Rothsport Racing. It produces 455 horsepower, revs to nearly 9,000 rpm, and sends power to the rear wheels through a reworked Getrag six-speed manual transmission.
Only 15 examples of the GXR-Evo will be built, and each one comes with a bespoke MYSIM racing simulator configured to match the owner's car. Gunther Werks lists the car at $1.4 million to start.
Hennessey Blackbird

Hennessey Blackbird

When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Hennessey brought the analog supercar back to Monterey with the new Blackbird, a limited-production hypercar built around a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 and six-speed gated manual transmission. The engine is expected to produce between 800 and 850 horsepower, revving beyond 9,000 rpm.
Hennessey is targeting a dry weight below 3,000 pounds thanks to an all-carbon-fiber body and chassis. The company estimates the Blackbird will hit 60 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 miles per hour.
Production won't begin until 2029, following the end of Venom F5 production in 2028. Hennessey plans to build just 71 Blackbirds, each priced at $2.5 million before taxes. The first prototype debuted at The Quail on August 14.
Honda Heritage Racing Program

When: Now
Where: Monterey Car Week
Honda is giving enthusiasts an unusual opportunity to own a genuine piece of its racing history. Ahead of Monterey Car Week, Honda Racing Corporation announced its new Heritage Racing Program, which will sell actual Honda and Acura race cars that competed—and won—in events including Le Mans, Sebring, and Daytona.
The first cars available include an Acura ARX-01 that won the LMP2 class at the 2007 12 Hours of Sebring, an NSX GT3 with 38 class wins in IMSA and SRO competition, and a 2001 Reynard 01i raced by the late Gil de Ferran for Team Penske. Buyers won't simply take the cars home, either. HRC professionals in California will handle the full restoration.
Honda will showcase the first car offered through the program at Monterey Car Week, along with a broader collection of Honda and Acura racing machines, Baja trucks, and MotoGP bikes.
Karma Gyesera Grand Coupe

Karma Gyesera
When: August 16
Where: Pebble Beach Concours
Karma unveiled the Gyesera Grand Coupe in Monterey, marking the start of a new generation for the luxury automaker. The four-seat grand tourer uses Karma’s latest Hybrid EREV powertrain, combining electric drive with range-extending hybrid technology to produce 566 horsepower and 546 pound-feet of torque.
The Gyesera rides on a high-strength aluminum space frame with carbon-fiber-reinforced body panels. Karma plans to launch the Gyesera in December with a starting price of $139,995, and orders are already open.
For Monterey, the car gets a special PB75 livery celebrating the event's 75th running.
Koenigsegg CCGT1
Koenigsegg revived one of its most interesting forgotten projects with the CCGT1, a road-legal hypercar inspired by the CCGT race car that never even got the chance to compete. Based on the CC850, the CCGT1 packs a twin-turbocharged V8 making up to 1,600 hp on E85 fuel.
The CCGT1 gets a heavily revised body, with nearly every panel redesigned and a massive active rear wing inspired by the original race car. It also introduces Koenigsegg's KSS sequential transmission, which uses a clutch for launching but can make shifts without the driver operating the clutch. Buyers can also specify the CC850's six-speed manual-style Engage Shift System.
Only 70 CCGT1s will be built, but the entire production run sold out within hours of its Monterey Car Week debut. Maybe next time.
Lamborghini Revuelto Miura 60° Homage

When: August 13
Where: Lamborghini Lounge
Lamborghini is celebrating 60 years of the legendary Miura with a special-edition Revuelto. Dubbed the Revuelto Miura 60° Homage, the limited-run model was created through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam customization program and Centro Stile.
It features nine exterior colors inspired by the Miura, along with special lower-body liveries, gold or titanium-finish wheels, gloss-black badges, and a Miura 60 logo on the side sill. The retro-inspired touches continue inside, where the seats feature a reinterpretation of the Miura’s distinctive “cannelloni” pattern, while leather covers the center tunnel, door panels, and rear bulkhead.
Only 99 will be produced, each one with the same 1,001-horsepower plug-in-hybrid V12 powertrain found in the standard Revuelto. It will be on display at the Lamborghini Lounge in Monterey.
Lamborghini Revuelto SV

Lamborghini Revuelto SV
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Lamborghini unveiled the Revuelto SV, a more track-focused version of its V12 plug-in hybrid flagship. It keeps the naturally aspirated V12 with a three-motor hybrid system, but it gets model-specific software and hardware designed to deliver quicker lap times.
Lamborghini retuned the suspension, stability and traction systems, torque vectoring, and hybrid power delivery, while new bodywork improves both downforce and cooling. The company says the changes allow for significantly higher cornering speeds and better stability during high-load track driving.
For now, Lamborghini hasn't announced pricing, production numbers, or when the Revuelto SV will reach different markets.
Mercedes-Maybach S680 By LeBron James

When: Now
Where: Mercedes-Benz Future Classics Auction House
Mercedes-Benz brought a seriously eclectic lineup to Pebble Beach for Monterey Car Week, mixing some of the brand’s most important classics with modern performance and luxury cars. At the center of it all will be a near-identical version of LeBron James’ personalized Mercedes-Maybach S680.
The car in question features extensive Manufaktur customization. The NBA star’s original car is set to be auctioned later this year to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation, making the bespoke Maybach one of the more unusual attractions in Mercedes’ Monterey lineup.
The display is part of Mercedes-Benz’s broader celebration of 140 years of innovation, with the automaker leaning heavily into the idea of "future classics."
McLaren McL 6GT
When: August 13
Where: McLaren House
McLaren unveiled the McL 6GT at Monterey Car Week, bringing back something the automaker hasn’t offered since the legendary F1: a proper manual transmission. The concept is a modern interpretation of Bruce McLaren’s original M6GT road-car project, combining a V8 engine with rear-wheel drive, a carbon-fiber monocoque, and carbon-fiber bodywork.
Inside, the McL 6GT mixes digital displays with physical controls, knurled aluminum switchgear, and a traditional gear lever. McLaren is also bringing back some of the tactile feel of old-school supercars with hydraulic steering and a focus on mechanical interaction between driver and machine.
McLaren plans to turn the concept into a production car in 2028, with the production version positioned above the company’s regular sports-car and supercar lineup. It’s expected to cost more than $1 million.
Porsche 911 Carrera S MT Package

2027 Porsche 911 Carrera S MT Package
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Porsche is giving the 2027 911 Carrera S something enthusiasts have been asking for: a manual transmission. The six-speed manual will be available as part of a new package, bringing a traditional three-pedal setup back to the Carrera S.
The car keeps its twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine making 473 horsepower, but gains a lightweight battery, lighter glass, and reduced sound insulation to offset some of the added weight from the transmission. Buyers can also opt for carbon-ceramic brakes and Porsche’s Sport Chrono package, while rear-axle steering remains available.
The Carrera S sits in a sweet spot between the regular Carrera and more serious GT models. That said, it still starts at a steep $169,450.
Porsche 911 GT2 Flachbau RS

Porsche 911 GT2 'Flachbau RS'
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Porsche has turned the 911 GT2 RS into a modern interpretation of the legendary 935/78 “Moby Dick” with the one-off 911 GT2 “Flachbau RS.” Created through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program for a single customer, the car gets redesigned front fenders, slim vertical LED headlights, new bumpers, and plenty of carbon-fiber aerodynamic hardware.
The powertrain remains untouched, giving the Flachbau RS a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six producing 700 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. Porsche instead focused on making the car lighter and more aerodynamic, stripping out the infotainment system, audio equipment, much of the sound insulation, and other unnecessary weight.
The Flachbau RS took three years to develop and underwent extensive testing, including 50 laps of the Nürburgring and endurance testing of its rear wing. Porsche won’t say how much the transformation cost, but considering this is a true one-off built for a single customer, the price was almost certainly enormous.
RUF Ehra

RUF Ehra
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
RUF unveiled its new Ehra at Monterey Car Week, adding another wild machine to its growing lineup of Porsche-inspired supercars. Despite looking like a classic 911, the Ehra rides on RUF’s own carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and features a widebody design, carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and center-lock magnesium wheels.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six producing 650 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. That power is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed manual transmission, helping the Ehra reach 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
RUF hasn’t announced production numbers or pricing, but considering the company’s hand-built nature and the Ehra's bespoke construction, expect both to be extremely limited.
Spyker C8 Preliator XXV
When: August 14
Where: The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering
Spyker is back with the C8 Preliator XXV, a wildly styled supercar unveiled at The Quail. The Dutch automaker continues its aviation-inspired design theme with propeller-style wheels, jet-like taillights, and a shark fin on the roof.
What do you think?
View
Comments
Underneath all that drama is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 sourced from Audi, producing 789 horsepower and 739 pound-feet of torque. Power goes through a proper manual transmission with exposed shift linkage, while Spyker claims a 0-60-mph time of less than three seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
Spyker plans to build just 25 examples, with this particular car reportedly costing around $1.6 million.
