Haval Jolion hybrid SUV hits UK market starting at £23,995
It will go on sale in February next year.
There’s a new player rolling into town, and it’s coming from China. Meet the GWM Haval Jolion Pro Hybrid, an SUV with big aspirations, hitting UK roads in February 2025 with a starting price of £23,995. Just like we reported a few days ago, GWM is bringing its Haval brand to Britain. Three trims – Premium, Lux, and Ultra – and four colour options will be available at launch.
Under the bonnet, the Jolion Pro Hybrid flexes a potent combo: a 149 PS electric motor paired with an efficient 1.5-litre petrol engine, delivering a combined punch of 189 PS. That’s enough to give it electric-car smoothness, according to the manufacturer, with the convenience of a 620-mile theoretical range.

Measuring a hefty 4,470 mm in length and boasting diamond-cut alloy wheels (17- or 18-inch depending on trim), the Jolion Pro is no shrinking violet. With a bold front grille, dynamic LED lighting, and a sleek “single eyebrow” rear taillight design, this SUV knows how to make an entrance even in base form. Ultra models even throw in a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, there’s a pair of displays, a 7.0-inch digital display and a LED multimedia screen with up to 12.3 inches for the infotainment. The Ultra trim ups the ante with a head-up display and wireless phone charging. Last but not least, the Lux and Ultra trims bring the leatherette seats – heated up front for Lux, ventilated for Ultra.
As mentioned, sales are scheduled to begin in February 2025 with prices starting at £23,995 and going up to £29,995 OTR. All vehicles will benefit from a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty. GWM will facelift all its dealerships throughout 2025 and will offer the new Jolion hybrid.
