Audi A6 e-tron: New entry-level models with rear-wheel drive in UK announced
Range of up to 382 miles for the A6 e-tron starting at £62,500
At its world premiere in July this year, the new Audi A6 e-tron was presented in two versions: as an A6 e-tron performance with rear-wheel drive and a system output of 367 PS (380 PS with Launch Control) and as a sporty Audi S6 e-tron with quattro drive and an output of 503 PS (550 PS with Launch Control).
Two further variants are now available to order: a cheaper A6 e-tron with rear-wheel drive and a smaller battery, which has a total gross capacity of 83 kWh (75.8 kWh net), and another model with quattro permanent all-wheel drive and a larger battery capacity of 100 kWh (94.9 kWh net).

The new A6 e-tron with rear-wheel drive (power consumption in mi/kWh combined: 3.74-4.56) has a system output of 286 PS (326 PS with Launch Control). The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 6 seconds. Thanks to the 800-volt technology and a maximum DC charging output of 225 kW as standard, the Audi A6 e-tron can make short charging stops.
Charging and range
Up to 162 miles of range for the Sportback and up to 152 miles of range for the Avant can be recharged in just ten minutes at an appropriate charging station (High Power Charging, HPC). The State of Charge (SoC) increases from 10 to 80 per cent in 21 minutes. The total range is up to 382 miles for the A6 Sportback e-tron and up to 361 miles for the A6 Avant e-tron. According to Audi, the A6 Sportback e-tron is the most economical derivative within the A6 e-tron family.
The new, additional variant with quattro drive (combined power consumption in mi/kWh: 3.55-4.23) has a system output of 428 PS (462 PS with Launch Control). The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds. The A6 e-tron quattro can be recharged in just ten minutes at an HPC charging station with a maximum charging capacity of 270 kW, giving the Sportback a range of up to 180 miles and the Avant a range of up to 174 miles. Here too, the state of charge increases from 10 to 80 per cent in just 21 minutes. The range is up to 463 miles (A6 Sportback e-tron quattro) and up to 437 miles (A6 Avant e-tron quattro).
