Bugatti's £8.5m Chiron Profilée collected by its owner in Molsheim
The most valuable new car ever sold at auction is finally reunited with the collector that paid £8.5m for it at RM Sotheby's in Paris.
Breaking the record for the most valuable new car ever sold at auction earlier this year, the one-off Bugatti Chiron Profilée closed its sale at a whopping €9,792,500 or approximately £8.5 million at the current exchange rate.
Bugatti’s final W16-powered production hypercar took the stage at RM Sotheby's event in Paris, where an eager collector acquired a true piece of automotive history.
Today, Bugatti is proud to reunite the Chiron Profilée with its excited new owner since the emotional day of its purchase.
The owner travelled to the home of Bugatti in Molsheim to personally collect the prized eight-figure hypercar as part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Photographed in all its glory on the grounds where the EB110, Veyron, and Chiron made their mark, the occasion proved to be more historical than a regular delivery day. The Bugatti Chiron Profilée exited the driveway of Molshiem for the last time as the manufacturer's final 1,476 bhp W16-powered hypercar.
As the Bugatti Chiron Profilée makes the journey to its happy new home, we hope to see it at events and on the road in the future. View all current Bugatti Chiron examples for sale on duPont REGISTRY by clicking on the link below.
