The Pininfarina Cambiano concept turned a few heads at the Geneva Motor Show and now it could be headed for limited production.

According to CEO Sergio Angori, "We are evaluating the potential for companies and private buyers interested in a high-performance, low-emission luxury model such as the Cambiano."

The production model could be launched within 30 months and pricing would be dependent on how many vehicles are made. If only 10 units were built, they would cost approximately €1 ($1.3) million each. However, if 70-75 units were made, the price could drop to €400,000 ($522,280).

As we have previously reported, the concept featured a range-extended electric powertrain with four 82 PS (60 kW / 80 bhp) electric motors, a lithium-ion battery and a small diesel engine-generator. This enabled the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 275 km/h (186 mph).
