Peugeot 308 Adds New Tech Edition Model

Peugeot has announced a new trim level for its 308 hatchback – the Tech Edition version of the car  will feature a range of driver assistance systems and fancy tech options as standard. 

The latest addition to the 308 range will sit between the Allure and GT Line models, with a £1,450 premium over the Allure models and will include a Drive Assist Pack, Safety Pack and Peugeot Connect SOS and Assistance.

The Drive Assist Pack features adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking, while the Safety Pack adds driver attention alert, auto high beams, speed limit recognition, lane keep assist and blind spot detection.

Driver perks include front and rear parking sensors, park assist, reversing camera and auto dual-zone climate control. Other additions include aluminium-effect pedals and Alcantara sports style seats. 

Exterior styling tweaks include chrome window trim and radiator grille, panoramic sunroof with electric blind and 17-inch wheels.

The 308 Tech Edition comes in either hatchback or estate format equipped with the French carmaker’s 1.2-litre petrol engine or its 1.5-litre diesel, as well as six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmissions.

The latest version of the Peugeot 308 is available to order now, with prices for the Tech Edition starting from £22,400.
