Most luxurious DS starts from £50,790 in the UK
Deliveries will begin later this year.
DS Automobiles has thrown open the order books for its latest product, the all-electric DS N°8, in the United Kingdom. The UK launch comes just two months after the model’s official global debut.
The electric saloon (or rather a crossover-coupe?) comes in two snazzy trims in the UK: Pallas and Etoile. Depending on how much oomph you desire, you can opt for front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The power options are nothing to sneeze at, offering 230 PS, 245 PS, and a zippy 350 PS for those who like their morning commute with a side of adrenaline. The FWD variant can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in a respectable 7.7 seconds, but if you're in a real hurry, the AWD version does it in a brisk 5.4 seconds.

Now, more tech info. The N°8 boasts two battery options: a 73.7 kWh for the FWD model and a beefier 97.2 kWh for the FWD Long Range and AWD Long Range versions. The FWD Long Range model claims a combined range of up to 466 miles on the WLTP cycle, which means you can drive from London to Edinburgh without breaking a sweat or needing a charge. And for city slickers, the urban range stretches to an impressive 565 miles.
With a 160 kW charging capacity, you can juice up from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in just 27 minutes for the larger battery, adding about 370 miles of range. For daily top-ups, the 11 kW on-board charger ensures you're ready to roll after a good night's sleep.
