Local tuning company MTM has announced an upgrade program for the Audi A6 3.0 BiTDI.

Audi's A6 3.0 BiTDI has received a power boost this week courtesy of local tuner MTM. In its standard configuration the engine pumps out 313 hp (233 kW / 317 PS), but after the tuner works its magic the power unit can develop 381 hp (284 kW / 386 PS) and a peak torque of 575 lb.-ft. (780 Nm) thanks to an ECU remapping.

This power boost for the eight-cylinder diesel engine costs 1,000 Euros while for 100 Euros less the engine can output 365 hp (272 kW / 370 PS) and 560 lb.-ft. (760 Nm). To balance the increase in power, MTM can install 380 x 34 mm granulated brake discs with eight-piston calipers for 4,900 Euros. Also available are the beefier 405 x 36 mm discs that cost 6,400 Euros and are available for at least 20-inch alloy wheels.

Another modification available for the Audi A6 3.0 BiTDI would have to be the F-Cantronic ECU for the air suspension (1,740 Euros) that can elevate or lower the vehicle, up to 25 mm lowered on the front end or up to 20 mm lowered at the back. MTM also provides a selection of 18- or 20-inch wheels.
