VW's entire ID EV range gets discounts in the UK
On top of last year's lowered prices.
This February, Volkswagen is making its electric vehicle range in the United Kingdom more appealing with a £1,000 discount for new orders placed between 4 February and 3 March. This offer applies to models including the ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID.7 Tourer, and the ID. Buzz, regardless of whether customers opt for cash payments or financing through Volkswagen Financial Services.
For those considering a personal contract plan (PCP), Volkswagen is sweetening the deal with substantial deposit contributions. For instance, the ID.7 and ID.7 Tourer come with a £1,700 deposit contribution, while the ID.5 boasts a generous £8,900 contribution. This means that customers financing a new ID.5 via PCP by 3 March could save nearly £10,000 in total.

But wait, there's more. Buyers of any fully electric ID. model can choose between a complimentary Ohme home charger or £500 in We Charge credit for use at public charging stations.
In partnership with OVO Energy, Volkswagen is offering the Charge Anytime add-on, allowing EV owners to charge at home for just 7p per kWh, regardless of the time of day. Additionally, customers who order a new electric Volkswagen by 31 March will receive credit equivalent to up to 10,000 free miles, with an extra 1,000 free miles added to their contract anniversaries for the next three years.
This initiative comes as European automakers, including Volkswagen, are adjusting their strategies ahead of stricter EU emissions regulations taking effect this year. These regulations will lower the cap on automotive carbon dioxide emissions, requiring at least 20 per cent of car sales to be EVs to avoid hefty fines. Currently, only 13 per cent of cars sold in Europe are electric, prompting manufacturers to offer discounts on EVs and increase prices on petrol vehicles to encourage a shift towards electric mobility.
