The time is approaching for the Dacia Jogger to undergo its first facelift. The crossover presented in 2021 will undergo a restyling sometime in 2025, as suggested by some spy photos of its prototypes collected in recent months.

The update will not change Dacia's philosophy, which will remain a crossover with original lines and a cabin capable of seating up to seven people. There will be plenty of new features, however, both in terms of looks and engines.

A look at the Bigster

In our exclusive rendering, we imagine a front end closer to more recent Dacia models, such as the new Duster and the Bigster. The Jogger is therefore likely to feature a redesigned bumper and Y-shaped LED headlights, still integrated into a slim grille with chrome elements.

New alloy wheel and paint choices can be expected, while the plastic door and wheel arch guards will be retained, as will the practical roof bars, which lend themselves to a variety of accessories.

The richer equipment could adopt solutions similar to those of the Bigster, such as the 10.1-inch infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster of up to 10 inches. In addition, the YouClip system is expected to be introduced, allowing objects such as torches, hooks and smartphone holders to be attached to key points in the cabin.

Remaining hybrids and LPG

In terms of powertrains, it is possible that the Jogger will use some of the engines found on the Bigster. The Romanian company's new SUV, for example, features a new 140 PS 1.2-litre turbo mild hybrid petrol and LPG engine. At the same time, we could find a 155 PS full hybrid version on the Jogger, perhaps replacing the 140 PS hybrid currently in the range.

In this respect, we don't know whether the 110 PS 1.0-litre turbo petrol (non-electrified) variants and the 100 PS LPG model based on the same powertrain will also be retained on the Dacia. In any case, in terms of price, there shouldn't be much difference, with the Jogger's price list still starting at around £18,000-£19,000.
