Jaecoo 2025: All the upcoming models

The rise of the Chinese brand Jaecoo in Europe began in 2024. For the new year, however, the company is aiming to strengthen its presence on the Old Continent with a series of new models, which will gradually enrich its list over the course of 2025.

It starts with the C7 mid-size crossover in the C segment, and continues with the large plug-in hybrids C9 and J7, some of which are new to our market. Let's find out about them all.

Jaecoo J5

Starting in alphabetical and numerical order, Jaecoo's first new model for the new year is called the 5 and is a smaller crossover than the current 7 already on sale, from which it takes its design and proportions.

It will be available in both hybrid and 100 per cent electric versions, but with features still largely to be defined. Based on the prototype we had a chance to see and touch live in China, the final version will have squared-off shapes, a rather upright front end and, again, plenty of on-board technology including a 13.2-inch touchscreen and advanced air-filtration system.

Jaecoo J7 PHEV

The second Jaecoo model coming to the European market will be the 7 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, the same one we had the chance to test in depth in China on a 800 mile long trip, during which it recorded an average fuel consumption of 3.3L/100 km (85.6 mpg).

Prices have not yet been defined for the UK market yet, but they should not be much higher than those already available for the purely combustion versions, which start at £29,435.

Jaecoo J8

Finally, also during the course of 2025, the last model expected to arrive from Jaecoo will be the big 8, a 7-seater luxury SUV that, according to early rumours, should have a plug-in hybrid powertrain inherited from the company's other models and a higher price than the J7.
