At the International User Summit, Chery Group brands present a sales consultant and a robot pet

When it comes to advanced robotics, it is not just Tesla. There are several car manufacturers looking with great interest at robots, amongst other things, for their future.

Among them is Omoda & Jaecoo (part of the Chinese Chery group), which at the International User Summit held from 17 to 21 October in Wuhu, China, presented two new products in collaboration with AIMOGA: the humanoid robot Mornine and the robotic dog Argos, now in its second generation.

The sales consultant of the future

The humanoid robot Mornine caught the visitors' attention with its minimalist and futuristic design. It is a true sales assistant, as thanks to its advanced capabilities it can greet customers, understand their needs and provide personalised suggestions for car purchases.

Besides improving sales efficiency, Mornine can be used in other contexts, such as assisting in the purchase of household appliances or in the distribution of promotional material.

The dog Argos

Alongside Mornine is the robotic dog Argos. Equipped with advanced features such as sound source recognition and intelligent tracking, the robot can perform voice commands, dance and interact with family members.

According to Omoda & Jaecoo, who at the Summit in China announced the opening of a research and development centre in Italy in 2025, Argos could also play an important role in social services, providing emotional support to people with autism or assistance to individuals with disabilities. For the time being, the brand is not talking about a market debut for the two products.
