1-of-1 1993 Vector Avtech WX-3 for sale
This infamous and rare American supercar is for sale.
For decades, the idea of a “supercar” was exclusive to European machines, and domestic performance was excluded from the small and particular club. However, things are different now, and one of the contributors to that change was a manufacturer called Vector Motors, which boldly brought American supercars into the mix in the 80s and 90s. Vectors represent some of the first attempts at American supercars, and their bold design and ambitious purpose make them some hidden gems in the collector-grade car world.

This Vector is the Avtech WX-3. It was one of the last models Vector has ever made, and only one prototype example was made. It features a twin-trbo V8 engine, and more prominently, radical early 90s design cues like pop-up headlights, geometric wheels, and a striking teal paintwork.
The car was owned until 2019 by Vector’s founder, Jerry Wiegert, and has an estimated $300,000 (approx. £235,000) in restoration work. Being sold by Broad Arrow Auctions, this Vector Avtech WX-3 is a truly special piece of automotive history. With 2,623 miles on the odometer, the WX-3 is in stunning condition and tells one of the most interesting stories in American automotive history.
