We've driven more than 25 sedans in 2018 – but these 10 deserve top honors.
Even though crossovers and SUVs currently dominate the market (we've already discussed our 10 best), don't disregard the sedan. We've driven more than 25 brand-new sedans in varying segments since January 1st, from companies like Kia, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Volkswagen in particular. Thus far, there are 10 that rank at the top of our list.
Like each vehicle we test, every sedan goes through the same process. The cars are scored using seven different categories weighted based on each segment. We don't break down our vehicle segments into separate categories based on size or price, which means all sedans are judged against each other – no matter the size or price.
