10 Cars That Have F1-Derived Engines
While some remained mere prototypes, others ended up reaching production.
It is often said that Formula 1 is one of the best test benches for manufacturers, when developing technologies that, sooner or later, end up coming to street cars. In some cases, the transition to a mass product isn’t really soft and this is how some of the most hardcore vehicles are born.
In this list, we are featuring 10 cars that are, in one way or another, related to F1 cars. The last one of them is probably the best example, as it adapts the propulsion system that has made Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg F1 champions.
As for the rest of the models, some reached production, becoming great supercars, while others remained strictly in concept form. Enjoy!
