A Few New Camaros Still Exist. This Is Your Last Chance to Buy One

Chevy ended Camaro production in December 2023. Yet, there are still a handful sitting on dealer lots.

Chevrolet ended Camaro production in December 2023. Dwindling sales spelled the end for the four-seater muscle car, which fell by more than half between 2010 and 2020. Consumers just weren’t interested, and even though sales spiked in 2023, it wasn’t enough to clear Chevy's inventory. You can still buy a new 2024 Camaro today, but you’ll have slim pickings.

Chevy’s inventory locator reveals, as noted by GM Authority, that 37 2024 Camaros remain available, including one in Hawaii. Of those, 31 have the 355-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6 engine, and 29 are convertibles. Four Camaro SS models remain, each packing a 455-hp 6.2-liter V-8. Most are equipped with the 10-speed automatic gearbox, with two V-6s and one naturally aspirated V-8 available with a six-speed manual.

There are also two Camaro ZL1s left, including a Collector’s Edition. They have the 650-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine, and were the last to roll off the assembly line over a year ago.

The cheapest Camaro still available, a blue V-6 coupe with the manual, costs $37,535. Most of the remaining cars are in the $40,000 to $60,000 range. However, the ZL1 Collector’s Edition has a $94,320 MSRP.

The remaining stock continues to dwindle. In October, there were just 75 Camaros left on dealer lots, but there was a better mix of models, including more coupes. If you've ever dreamed of owning a new Camaro, this could be your last chance. So don't wait.
