LMC revolutionises camping with e:dero and MODO at CMT 2025
Innovative lightweight caravan e:dero and modular system for trailers and the Iveco Daily
LMC will be presenting innovative camping solutions at CMT 2025 in Stuttgart from 18 to 26 January. With the lightweight e:dero caravan and the modular Modo system, the manufacturer is showcasing two solutions that emphasise flexibility and individuality.
The new LMC e:dero is designed for camping newcomers and electric car owners. There are three layouts, two for couples and one for families. The e:dero 350 D is special because it can be towed with a weight of less than 750 kg without an extended driving licence for towing a trailer.
The e:dero has two metre-long beds and concentrates on sleeping, living and storage. Instead of a bathroom or kitchen, there is a sink and worktop. The minimalist concept has USB lamps and cushions that can also be used outside.
LMC has developed two equipment packages for the e:dero to enhance the camping experience. The small starter pack contains a cool box, a hanging cupboard, felt boxes and a table. The large package also includes outdoor cushions and an awning. The price for the e:dero starts at €13,490 (approx. £11,400), while the version with the large equipment package costs €14,990 (£12,700) at launch.
Modo: Versatile for work and leisure
In addition to the e:dero, LMC is also presenting the Modo system, which is suitable for leisure and work. The Modo trailer was developed together with trailer specialist Humbaur. It has a modular furniture system based on airline rails. The robust, insulated body offers a payload of approx. 1,300 kg over an overall length of 4 metres. A tailgate with door enables easy loading.
The Modo system is versatile. It can be used for camping and leisure, transporting two-wheelers, sports equipment and tradesmen's materials, as a mobile workshop or accommodation for travelling salesmen and fitters. All parts are the same size (750 x 475 x 425 mm) and the black plastic corners of the furniture modules converge where the aluminium parts of the base frame meet.
The modules can be locked into the rails thanks to round recesses with fittings. Connector tabs protect unused openings from dirt or act as feet. One potential advantage of the Modo system is its compatibility with standard furnishing systems from Würth, Häfele and Sortimo.
LMC is extending the Modo co-operation to Iveco. The Modo system is offered in the Iveco Daily Switch, which can be used as a van, mobile office and motorhome. The Iveco Daily Switch with Modo system is available in various weight classes and as a 4x2 and 4x4 variant. It can be optionally equipped with a pop-up roof and four sleeping berths.

The integrated airline rails enable quick conversion between different usage scenarios. This combination is aimed at craftsmen, fitters, sportsmen and mobile entrepreneurs who are looking for a seamless transition between work and leisure. The flexibility of the system makes it possible to use the vehicle as a workshop or office during the day and transform it into a comfortable motorhome in the evening or at the weekend.
With the e:dero and the Modo system, LMC is responding to current trends in the camping industry: the desire for more flexibility, individuality and multifunctionality. The e:dero could open up new target groups for caravanning, while the Modo system offers an unusually high level of flexibility.
