If you think of Brabus, you think of Mercedes G-Classes with exaggerated power, or saloons with the star on the bonnet, with hundreds and hundreds of horsepower and styling straight out of Need 4 Speed Underground, but that's all changing now. The Big Boy 1200 is born, a vehicle with which Brabus is breaking new ground, a motorhome that's hard to beat in terms of exclusivity.

The Big Boy 1200 is part of the company's Masterpiece series and is based on the Mercedes Actros 5, which already impresses with its size and equipment. Under the bonnet is an OM 471LA engine with 530 PS and 2,600 Nm of torque. The top speed is limited to 55 mph, to better suit the size and weight of this road-going beast.

With a length of 12 metres, a height of 4 metres and a weight of 26 tonnes, the Big Boy 1200 has an imposing appearance. Once parked, the motorhome unfolds its entire living space of around 30 square metres thanks to four extendable sliding modules, which guarantee a generous feeling of space. The interior offers a high level of comfort: sleeping area with double bed, wardrobe and work area. The lounge, as Brabus calls the living area, is furnished with two luxurious leather sofas.

The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances: induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer and even a mini wine fridge. Would you like to serve Prosecco at room temperature? What if you get dirty? Don't worry, there's a built-in central vacuum, accessible from various parts of the living space. The bathroom is more reminiscent of a luxury hotel than a conventional motorhome, with high-quality fittings and a real shower.

What do you think?

Entertainment and connectivity are not left out as the motorhome has a complete entertainment system with Smart TV, PlayStation 5 and a powerful audio system. For browsing, the Starlink satellite kit is included, so you can access the internet even in the most remote areas.

Visually, the Big Boy 1200 remains true to the typical Brabus style, clearly modifying the styling of the Actros. The luxury motorhome is painted in high-gloss black with carbon-fibre accents. The illuminated Brabus logo in the radiator grille and additional LED headlights on the roof bar complete the exterior appearance. The price tag? Around €1.4 million (approx. £1.2 million).
