As you know, we love anything that has wheels, an engine, makes noise and moves at a certain speed. Most of the time we find models that meet all our requirements, but sometimes we settle for static models, reproductions of legendary vehicles that allow our imagination to run wild.

In this sense, the Danish toy company Lego has a special place in our hearts, as it never fails to surprise us with its creations, especially when it comes to reproducing a legendary F1 car such as the Williams FW14B driven by Nigel Mansell, who won the world title in 1992.

The good news is that Lego has now surprised us with a new kit in the Lego Icons collection, which reproduces both the vehicle and a figure of British driver Nigel Mansell, complete with his characteristic moustache.

The kit can already be ordered through the Danish manufacturer's website, under the reference #10353, and the set is made up of 799 pieces, which include not only the single-seater and the driver, but also a small podium, with an inscription and the driver's signature, helmet and trophy included, and a kind of platform to display the car once it has been assembled.

As with all Lego products, attention to detail is paramount and in this case the F1 replica allows you to move the front wheels via the steering wheel or see how the front axle collapses thanks to the included suspension system.

Naturally, the model faithfully reproduces the white, blue and yellow colours typical of the British team at the time, as well as the main sponsors such as Canon, Bull, ELF and Goodyear.

What do you think?

But that's not all: the model opens up the rear of the car to reveal the reproduction of the Renault V10 engine which, along with the semi-active suspension, was Mansell and Patrese's secret weapon in winning the 1992 Constructors' Championship.

Finally, the dimensions of the Williams Racing FW14B in this Lego set are approximately 7 cm high, 31 cm long and 15 cm wide. As we said, it will be available from 1 March, but we already know that it has a price of £69.99.
