Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron: Dimensions and boot space of the coupé-SUV
The coupe version of Ingolstadt's electric SUV retains the 64-litre frunk and excellent interior roominess.
- Length: 4,770 mm
- Width: 1,965 mm
- Height: 1,665 mm
- Wheelbase: 2,899 mm
- Luggage compartment: min. 511/1,373 litres
The Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron is the coupe-roof version of the new German electric SUV. On sale from the autumn of 2024, it is based on the new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform with an 800-volt architecture and can have either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, generated by two motors (one per axle).
In terms of dimensions, it is as long as its standard-roof sibling, compared to which it is lower overall by about 4 cm, losing a few litres in terms of luggage space. Let's find out how big it is, bearing in mind that the battery-powered competitors in this segment are not that many.
The dimensions
The new Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron is 4.77 metres long, 1.97 metres wide, and 1.67 metres high, values that make it slightly out of proportion by the standards of its segment, especially in terms of width. The wheelbase, on the other hand, is 2.90 metres, a number in this case important and necessary at the design level to accommodate the large 94.9 kWh battery pack of the most powerful versions, which offers up to 407 miles of range in the WLTP cycle.
Space and boot capacity
Thanks to the large wheelbase, there is no shortage of space on board the Q6 Sportback e-tron - just like on its normal-roof sibling, which we have already had the opportunity to test - especially for those sitting in the back. Luggage space isn't bad either, despite the sloping roof.
The latter, in particular, is limited in this coupé version at 511 litres with a 5-seat configuration, a figure that, when the rear bench seat is folded down, rises to 1,373 litres: slightly below the segment average. Also under the front bonnet is a 64-litre frunk.
Similarly dimensioned competitors
The new Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron enters the segment of 100 per cent electric coupé SUVs. Its direct competitors with dimensions between 4.70 and 4.80 metres include some of the best-selling models of recent years, as well as the European and world champion, the Tesla Model Y.
| Model | Length | Luggage compartment |
| Mercedes EQC | 4.76 metres | 500 litres |
| Porsche Macan | 4.78 metres | 540 litres + 84 litres (frunk) |
| Tesla Model Y | 4.75 metres | 600 litres + 117 litres (frunk) |
