With the Geneva Motor Show less than a month away, Hyundai has released the first interior image of the new i40.

Created under the philosophy of "modern premium," the cabin boasts elegant styling and high quality materials. The overall design mimics the Sonata, but the i40 has additional trim, a revised center stack, and gloss black accents.

Under the hood, engine options are slated to include a 1.6-liter GDI with 140 PS (103 kW), a 2.0-liter GDI with 177 PS (103 kW) as well as a 1.7-liter CRDI with 115 PS (85 kW) and 136 PS (100 kW).

The i40 Estate (aka i40W) will go on sale in June and a sedan variant will follow shortly thereafter.
