Wrong. So very, very wrong.
If any car is going to shatter these horrifically misguided preconceptions, it’s the 2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Its hybrid powertrain develops a total of 680 horsepower and 682 pound-feet of torque. It will accelerate to 60 miles per hour in 3.2 and rush through the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds. And with enough open road, it can manage a top speed of 192 mph.
