Alfa Romeo’s hybrid Junior lands in the UK priced £6K less than EV version
The most affordable Junior has arrived.
Alfa Romeo has unveiled the Junior Ibrida for the UK market, a hybrid twist to its compact SUV lineup, with orders opening later this month. Priced from £27,895, the Ibrida undercuts its electric sibling by £6,000, making it a more wallet-friendly option for those eyeing Italian flair without the full EV commitment. Full pricing is available below.
Under the bonnet, the Ibrida boasts a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers a combined 136 PS, channelled through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The integrated 21 kW electric motor allows for short bursts of electric-only driving, ideal for city commutes and tight parking spots. If this setup sounds familiar to you, that’s because it’s used in several other Stellantis products.

The Junior Ibrida measures 4.1 metres in length and 1.5 metres in height, making it a nimble companion for urban adventures. Its 415-litre boot space is touted as the largest in its segment, ensuring ample room for groceries, gym bags, or a spontaneous weekend getaway.
With the Ibrida joining the ranks, the Junior lineup now offers a spectrum of choices, from the fully electric Elettrica models to the performance-oriented Veloce. Alfa Romeo seems keen on ensuring there's a Junior for every driver, whether you're chasing zero-emission journeys or a blend of petrol and electric power.
