Ferrari Will Reveal Six New Cars in 2025

Ferrari had record sales last year and is looking forward to a busy 2025 by introducing six new models. The announcement was included in the document prepared for investors about the company's results in 2024. One of the vehicles that will break cover this year will be the firm's first-ever EV. It doesn't have a name yet, but we know the "Ferrari elettrica" will be officially unveiled on October 9 during the Capital Markets Day in Maranello.

The Prancing Horse remains tight-lipped about the identities of the five other models, but we have some ideas. The Italian exotic automaker has already ended production of the SF90 Stradale, which can only mean a replacement for the plug-in hybrid V-8 supercar will break cover later in 2025. We'll also likely see an updated 296, and logic tells us that convertibles will join both coupes.

What else? A new version of the Purosangue would make sense as a more affordable alternative to the V-12. We know the SUV's platform has been developed with electrification in mind, so a plug-in hybrid V-8 or something to that effect is likely in the works. Not even Ferrari is immune to increasingly stringent emissions regulations, even though it has pledged to keep the twelve-cylinder powerhouse alive for as long as possible.

It's likely too early for the Roma to be replaced in 2025, and details about an "SP4" part of the Icona Series are unavailable. We'll remind you that the Daytona SP3 came out in 2022, after the Monza SP1/SP2 launched in 2018. Ferrari ramped up deliveries of the SP3 last year, a special-edition V-12 supercar limited to 599 examples.

Although Ferrari doesn't have an EV yet, hybrids have gained traction in recent years. In 2024, electrified models accounted for 51% of total shipments, as only 49% of the cars delivered had a pure ICE setup. The zero-emission model coming in the final quarter of the year is improbable to be a supercar, considering spy shots of a test mule showed a modified Maserati Levante body. It doesn't necessarily mean it will be another crossover to sit alongside the Purosangue, but it is likely something more practical than a two-seater performance machine.
