Refreshed Tesla Model Y arrives in the UK with £60,990 launch edition
No seven-seat model for now.
Tesla's latest Model Y is gearing up to hit UK roads this April, but hold onto your wallets – this Launch Series edition starts at a cool £60,990. For that price, drivers get all-wheel drive and a long-range battery promising up to 353 miles on a full charge, and a zippy 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds.
But before you rush to trade in your current ride, know that this premium model is the only option available at launch. More wallet-friendly versions are expected later this year, though they'll still set you back more than the current £51,990 for the standard long-range AWD model. As for the entry-level long-range RWD variant, previously priced at £46,990, it's in the works but without a confirmed arrival date.

And for those hoping to pile the whole family into a seven-seater Model Y, there's some bad news: Tesla has no immediate plans to bring back this popular configuration in the UK.
Visually, the refreshed electric crossover takes inspiration from its futuristic sibling, the Cybertruck, with a bold new front-end design. Thin LED headlights are connected by a sleek light strip, creating a distinctive light signature that screams modernity. The bumper has been reworked as well, now featuring a front camera designed to improve both manoeuvring and Tesla’s Autopilot functionality. Around the back, the updates continue with new C-shaped light clusters joined by a light bar bearing the Tesla logo.
Inside, the Model Y reflects a series of upgrades previously seen in the revamped Model 3. Noise levels are expected to drop thanks to thicker windows aimed at better soundproofing, while customisable ambient lighting allows drivers to tailor the cabin's vibe. Ventilated front seats and power-folding rear seats add a touch of luxury and practicality, while the dashboard gets a refresh with new fabric upholstery for a softer, more premium feel.
