Suzuki shows hot Swift and Jimny concepts in India
Champions Concept raises hopes for new fighting dwarf
Suzuki fans have fond memories of the Swift Sport. Apparently, the Indians miss the little pocket rocket just as much as we do because at India's largest mobility trade fair, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Suzuki's Indian representative is presenting several fun-looking concepts.
One of them is the Suzuki Jimny, which was only available in Europe as a commercial vehicle without a rear bench seat until mid-2024, but can no longer fulfil the emission requirements for 2025 and will therefore no longer be offered.

The Jimny Conqueror Concept is so rustic that it looks as if it wants to conquer the steepest mountains and highest sand dunes in the world. A winch, shovel, spare wheel, snorkel, sand boards and rear ladder mean that the five-door vehicle with a long wheelbase is probably not afraid of anything.
The sand-coloured base paint with black applications, including Jimny 4x4 decor, gives it the right look for a sweaty day off-road.
Next in line is the Suzuki Swift Champions Concept, which gives the latest Swift generation a sporty look. The Japanese compact comes in a red colour reminiscent of the 1989 GTI. The Champions Concept features some subtle aeroparts, such as additional grille-clad air intakes at the front and a shallow diffuser.

The most striking feature, however, is the massive rear spoiler. The standard 82 PS is probably not enough for this look. White graphics on the tyres and large Swift lettering round off the sporty design. Yes, this is definitely what a new Swift Sport should look like.
Maruti Suzuki is also showing other spruced-up concepts for the Indian market for the Fronx, Brezza, Invicto and Grand Vitara (in the gallery). They are all united by the fact that they are merely visual accessories and fancy stickers for "demonstration purposes". There are no other modifications in terms of chassis or engines.
The Indian branch of the Japanese manufacturer primarily wants to collect feedback and arouse emotions with the concepts on show, and we are happy to report back: please give us this little fighting dwarf - thank you!
