Suzuki 2025: All the upcoming models
2025 will be the year of EVs for the Japanese manufacturer, which will bring the new eVitara to the market.
2025 will be the year of the EV for Suzuki. The Japanese brand is preparing to launch the newly unveiled eVitara, the first zero-emission version of the famous Japanese SUV, worldwide and also in Europe in the coming months.
It is a model that has been long awaited in recent years, anticipated with the eVX concept, and will mark the start of the brand's transition to a battery-powered future. So let's find out what we can expect in the new year from Suzuki.
Suzuki eVitara
The Suzuki eVitara is a model designed from a completely new base, both aesthetically and mechanically. The company has not yet disclosed some important information, such as range and price, which will be announced later this year along with many other technical features. We already know that it is designed from the eVX concept car, first shown at the Auto Expo in India in January 2023 and again at the Japan Mobility Show in October 2023.
In terms of dimensions, it is a crossover bridging the B and C segments, 4.28 metres long and 1.64 metres high, values that, at least according to preliminary data, have allowed engineers to create a rather spacious and technological interior, with two horizontal displays next to each other.
As far as engines are concerned, the eVitara will be available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Power outputs will be 144 bhp and 174 bhp with 49 or 61 kWh batteries, respectively, and 183 bhp with 61 kWh battery in the AWD model.
