VW Transporter and Caravelle (2025): Special model with a sporty look
The "Edition" can be ordered as a Transporter Panel Van, Panel Van Plus and Caravelle Life
The new edition of the Volkswagen Transporter and the new Caravelle, developed in co-operation with Ford, is getting its first special model simply known as "Edition" in Germany, as previously seen with its predecessors. Key features include black accents on the body, black alloy wheels and an upgraded interior.
The bumpers and add-on parts of all Edition models are painted in body colour. Key features include the black-painted roof and black foiling with Edition lettering at the rear and on the side sills. The Volkswagen Caravelle Edition also has a chrome strip between the headlights and black tinted windows in the passenger compartment. In the Caravelle and Kombi, the B-pillars are also finished in black foil.

Other equipment details include the exterior mirrors painted in high-gloss black and the elegant LED tail lights. While the Transporter "Edition" runs on glossy black 17-inch "Le Mans" alloy wheels, the Caravelle "Edition" rolls on black 19-inch "Indianapolis" alloy wheels.
When entering the customised interior of the special model, the illuminated step trims with Edition lettering are the first thing that catches the eye. Other interior features include the (according to Volkswagen) higher-quality dashboard with a high-gloss frame around the infotainment system, a leather-covered multifunction steering wheel and inner door openers in chrome.

The new "Edition" van is also available in the "Panel Van Plus" version with up to six seats
The black applications naturally create a particularly high-contrast effect in combination with the white base colour ("Clear White"). Six other paint finishes are available as colour alternatives. The Edition package can be ordered for all engines - from the 110 PS TDI to the 286 PS electric drive - as well as in combination with the short or long wheelbase.
The spectrum of body versions ranges from the classic panel van and panel van Plus to the Caravelle for passenger transport. Prices for the "Edition" Transporter in Germany start at €40,465 (TDI with 110 PS). No word if it will be offered in the UK.
At the same time as the special model becomes available to order, the Transporter Kombi variants designed for classic passenger transport will be added to the range in January - also in all available engines and dimensions.
