Its new owner, who remained anonymous, is American and wanted it metallic red.

The seventh car in Totem Automobili's special series is called Hestia and was unveiled during JP Morgan's 40x40 event held at Place Vendôme in Paris, an exclusive annual summit where entrepreneurs, investors, artists, and athletes meet.

The name Hestia reflects the personal vision of the American owner, who chose this name to represent "warmth, beauty, and tradition."

Exposed carbon fibre

The Totem Hestia can be recognised, first and foremost, by its distinctive triple-layer metallic red paintwork, a bold shade intended to emphasise its sporty character and exclusivity. A lot of carbon fibre has been used on this super GT, which is clearly visible in several places, with an intricate diamond pattern that changes appearance depending on the angle from which it is viewed. There is also a matt carbon fibre trim, painted in a satin nickel shade, which makes it stand out.

On board, the interior of this new Totem is clearly very sophisticated. Upholstery is in extended black Nappa leather and there are custom-made fabric inserts.

What do you think?

Under the bonnet, the Hestia is powered by a 2.8-litre twin-turbo engine developed exclusively by Italtecnica for Totem Automobili. It delivers up to 640 bhp and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, with an open grille selector to pay homage to tradition.

The price of the Totem Hestia has remained confidential, but we take this opportunity to remind you the story of the electric car worth £385,000: the Totem GT, the supercar inspired by the legendary Alfa Romeo Giulia GT coupe that we drove in Rome together with its creator, Riccardo Quaggio.
