MG 2025: All the new upcoming models
MG's 2025 promises to be full of interesting innovations, especially in terms of hybrid and LPG engines
2025 will be a year full of innovations for many car manufacturers, including MG. The historic British brand now owned by the Chinese SAIC Motor Group will expand part of its current range in the new year with new engines and present new zero-emission models.
To go into more detail, full hybrid versions of the new HS and ZS are expected, the latter also expected to be 100% electric and, perhaps, in the second part of the year also LPG powered, a new electric SUV to replace the Marvel R, which has almost reached the end of its life, and a brand new petrol-only version of the successful MG3. Here are all the details.
MG HS
MG HS (2024)
MG's first model for 2025 is the arrival in dealerships of the new HS mid-size SUV, which later this year will also see the introduction of a brand new full hybrid version alongside the current pure combustion and plug-in.
There is still very little information about this new powertrain. What is certain, however, is that it will inherit part of the technology already present on the company's other hybrid cars, while obviously retaining the same shape and dimensions.

| Bodywork | C-segment SUV |
| Engines | Probably 197 PS |

MG ZS
MG ZS Hybrid (2024)
The company's second model for the new year, although expected later and not yet fully confirmed, could then be the arrival on the market of a petrol/LPG dual-fuel version of the smaller ZS crossover.
Currently under development both in China and in the rest of the world, it could represent one of the few alternatives in the segment with a bifuel engine once in the dealerships, alongside the 197 PS full hybrid we have already come to know.

MG3
MG3 Hybrid
MG's third model for 2025 concerns the compact MG3, already available in our market with a full hybrid engine. Later this year, it will be joined by a second purely combustion powertrain, perhaps less powerful than the 197 PS electrified one due to the lack of the electric component, but probably with an even lower sticker price.

New electric
MG Marvel R
Finally, one of the company's latest innovations for 2025 is the arrival of a new electric crossover to replace the current Marvel R, a car that is not very popular in our country but is very popular in the East and Northern Europe and has reached the end of its natural life cycle after four years of production.
The car that will replace it, which nothing is yet known, will probably reproduce its dimensions with a style inspired by the latest models designed in the Marylebone style centre in London.

Cyberster

Last but not least, as a final treat, the SAIC Motor Group company in 2025 could finally (although not yet certain) also import into the rest of Europe the single-engine, rear-wheel-drive version of the Cyberster spider, which is already available in several European markets including the UK and Italy. However, a few markets only have the dual-motor all-wheel drive model.
