Paris Motor Show 2024: News, updates and event information
In addition to the French brands Renault and Stellantis, BMW, MINI, Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda, as well as BYD, will also be attending
The Paris Motor Show 2024 will open its doors from 14 to 20 October, making the French capital the nerve centre of the automotive world.
An event that has survived the storm caused by the pandemic, which saw the Frankfurt Motor Show move to Munich and sweep away the Geneva Motor Show, and will continue to be held once every two years, taking turns with the German event.
After a weak edition in 2022, the Parisian show is preparing to welcome numerous brands, with confirmations coming not only from the Renault Group with its brands (Renault, Dacia and Alpine) and the French Stellantis (Citroën and Peugeot), but also from German manufacturers and from other countries.
Below you will find the list (constantly updated) of all the car brands present, with new models and innovations ready to debut in France, along with information on how to visit the Paris Motor Show 2024.

Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo has no particular news planned for 2024, reserving for 2025 the presentation of the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio, based on the STLA Large platform and also available in a 100% electric version.
The focus should therefore be on the Junior and perhaps also on the new 33 Stradale, deliveries of which will begin at the end of the year.

Alpine
At the Paris Motor Show 2024, Alpine will unveil the world premiere of the Alpenglow Hy6, a prototype powered by a hydrogen powertrain and likely to be an evolution of the Alpenglow Hy4 shown at Paris 2022. Alongside it will be an exclusive showcar and the A290, the sports version of the electric Renault 5, as well as the A390_β, the preview of the brand's new fastback.

Audi
In recent months, Audi has unveiled numerous new products: the new A5, the restyling of the RS 3, the A6 e-tron and the Q5. All of them are expected at the Paris Motor Show 2024, showcasing the company's duality: combustion engines (also electrified) on the one hand, pure electric on the other. For the time being, we do not know whether any global innovations will also be presented.

BMW
BMW's absolute star is expected to be the new M5 Touring, the 727 PS version of the German estate car. However, as the brand's local subsidiary will be present, and not the manufacturer officially, no major new developments are expected. So the new preview of the electric SUV due in 2025 and the company's next supercar, the spiritual successor to the M1, will have to wait.

BYD
The presence of Chinese manufacturers at European motor shows is no longer surprising. BYD could bring the SEAL 06 GT, just launched in China, to Paris 2024. We also know that in 2025 it will launch six new cars, three electric and three plug-in, and the French show could be the stage to present them.

Cadillac
Cadillac officially landed in Europe about a year ago, but only in a few markets, and with the Paris Motor Show 2024 the strategy of the luxury brand of General Motors could experience a significant 'acceleration'. The presence of the Optiq, an electric SUV with 300 PS and almost 311 miles of range, is almost certain.

Citroën
Citroën's roadmap for 2024 does not include any major debuts, with the new C3 and C3 Aircross already launched. Instead, 2025 should see the unveiling of the new-generation C5 Aircross, based on the STLA Medium platform and powered by both electrified engines and electric powertrains. For now, there have been no teasers or previews, but playing 'at home', Citroën could reveal something about it.

Dacia
Dacia's big star should be the new Dacia Bigster, the company's first compact SUV. No official confirmation yet, but a press release mentions the presence of a new C-segment model. So, after the 2021 concept, the Duster's big brother looks set to go into production, offering the classic Dacia recipe, with petrol, LPG or hybrid engines.

Ford
Ford's big return to a European motor show is due with the unveiling of the Capri, the electric coupé SUV, based on Volkswagen's MEB platform, which could be joined by a battery-powered version of the new Puma.

Forthing
For the Italian market, models from Dongfeng's Chinese brand Forthing are already on sale: two SUVs (one electric) and a people carrier. A range that could be extended at the Paris Motor Show 2024 with the presentation of new products derived directly from the range available in China, such as the Xinghai S7 saloon.

GAC
At Milano Design Week 2024, the Chinese GAC Group presented the electric hypercar Hyper SSR, a 1,241 PS coupé, along with three concepts that anticipate other models with an urban vocation. They could be the stars of the brand's stand at the show.

Kia
The main innovations we expect from Kia for Paris 2024 are the restyling of the Sportage and the EV9 GT, the high-performance version of the Korean seven-seater electric SUV.

MINI
With the range almost completely revamped in recent times, there is one piece missing to complete the MINI line-up: sportiness. And in Paris is expected to unveil the new MINI John Cooper Works, powered by a petrol engine and, for the first time, an electric powertrain.

Peugeot
With the new 3008 and 5008, Peugeot has used up its list of new products for 2024, and looking ahead to 2025, we expect a preview of the launch of the electric 508, as a rival to the Tesla Model 3. It should be inspired by the Inception concept, unveiled at CES 2023.

Renault
All eyes will be on the Renault 4, the latest addition to Renault's 'Operation Nostalgia'. Inspired by the small car produced between the 1960s and 1991, it should share mechanicals and engines with the Renault 5, offering an urban crossover design and prices under €25,000 (approx. £21,000).

Seres
As for the Chinese manufacturer, there are no particular rumours. The Paris Motor Show could set the stage for the arrival of a new version of the Seres 7 range, but as we have already said, official information is scarce at the moment.
Skoda
October is the month of the Skoda Elroq's debut and, although there is no official confirmation, it could be seen at the Paris Motor Show 2024. Skoda's new compact electric SUV will be powered by engines with power ratings between 170 PS and 300 PS, with a claimed range of more than 348 miles.

Volkswagen
Like BMW, Volkswagen will also be represented by its French subsidiary, which is expected to bring the latest additions to its GTX electric sports car range to the show, along with the ID. GTI. Watch out, because in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, the ID.2 SUV could make its debut in concept form.

Xpeng
Another Chinese brand closes the list, which in Paris could bring both new products ready to reach European dealerships and previews of future models, such as the AeroHT, a peculiar pick-up that can fly.

Salon de Paris 2024: how to get there
The most convenient way to get to Paris is undoubtedly by aeroplane. The French capital has three airports (Charles De Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais Tille, the furthest one).
Once in Paris, if you are travelling by metro (Porte de Versailles stop, lines 12 and T3), tram or taxi, you should go to gate A2. On the other hand, if you are travelling by private car, park at the P6 (pay car park), located about 10 minutes walk from the exhibition.
