Citroën has launched the C1 Connexion special edition in the United Kingdom.
Designed by Facebook users, the model is based on the VTR trim level and is available in thee- and five-door body styles. It features a Caldera Black metallic exterior with Scarlet Red accents, tinted windows and 14-inch alloy wheels.
Interior changes are limited, but the cabin has been equipped with floor mats and Scarlet Red accents on the speedometer, air vents and center console.
Power comes from a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 PS (50 kW / 67 hp) and 93 Nm (69 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the three-door variant to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 12.3 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 158 km/h (98 mph).
Pricing starts at £9,495 which represents a £500 premium over the VTR. Despite this, Citroën says the model is "specified with well over £925 of additional equipment."
