This Is The Slowest Bugatti You Can Buy, Depending On Who's Riding It
Bugatti and bike builder Factor have created a limited-edition road bike that's expensive, lightweight, and actually really fast.
The Breakdown
- Bugatti and Factor have developed a version of the One road bike.
- It's limited to 250 units.
- Each one starts at $23,999.
Road bikes are wild things. There's an obsession with weight savings that pushes elite riders to spend huge sums of money on the latest and greatest.
Currently, one of the greatest pieces of pedal power you can buy comes from Factor, with a bike simply called One. To take things even further, Factor has teamed up with Bugatti to deliver a truly wild, boundary-pushing piece of equipment.

Factor describes its One as the world's fastest UCI-legal bike. They looked at every aspect of the rulebook and discovered everywhere they could push boundaries. With the Bugatti Factor One, however, the rulebook was tossed aside.
The fork is wider, which reduces drag and increases front-end stability. This bike shares the same carbon-fiber frame construction as the standard bike, but features a unique weave and finish that mirrors the carbon work on Bugatti's road cars.
Carbon wheels are fitted front and rear, with the total combined weight of those wheels landing under three pounds. The crank is carbon. There's alcantara on the saddle. And the brake rotors are a mix of carbon and steel.
Of course, the bike features a French Racing Blue paint scheme. But the best part is the dancing elephant on the front of the bike. The symbol was created by Rembrandt Bugatti, Ettore's brother.
Factor is building just 250 examples of the Bugatti Factor One. Each one starts at $23,999 but can be adjusted to the buyer's preferences. The standard One starts at $7,599 and can run up to $14,499, making the Bugatti version quite a jump pricewise.
But it's got nothing on the Factor Hanzō Track Paris Edition, which starts at $59,999. All of these prices make my mountain bike seem like a good deal.
Motor1's Take: If you're in the market for a truly unique road bike, this might be it. Even though the Bugatti version of the Factor One is quite pricey, that's chump change for anyone who already owns a Chiron.
