Mansory's Koenigsegg Jesko Isn't As Bad As You Think

This is the first Koenigsegg that Mansory has modified. And it's not terrible.

The Breakdown:

  • Mansory has modified the Koenigsegg Jesko, its first from the Swedish automaker.
  • It features sandy brown exterior paint, a teal interior, and added carbon-fiber aerodynamic pits.
  • It was built as part of a promotion for an online casino.

Mansory has modified its first Koenigsegg—and it’s a Jesko. It was built as part of a promotion with online casino Spartans.com, and the good news is, it doesn't look nearly as bad as you might think.

The Swedish hypercar features a sandy exterior paint and carbon-fiber aerodynamic elements, and the two-tone is subtle for Mansory. Unlike some of the tuner’s other cars, the exterior upgrades fit well with the Jesko’s already wild styling.

The hypercar has a massive front splitter with endplates tall enough to fit a pair of canards. Mansory also adds canards to the bumper. Along the side, there’s added aero to the doors and upgraded side skirts.

At the rear, Mansory installed a new rear wing and diffuser. Inside, the Koenigsegg gets a teal Mansory interior that doesn’t look too out of place against the gold-like exterior.

What do you think?

Koenigsegg revealed the Jesko at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show (RIP). The Jesko packs a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, producing 1,600 horsepower, and the company’s Light Speed Transmission with nine gears. It can generate up to 3,086 pounds of downforce.

Motor1’s Take: Mansory is famous for pushing stylistic boundaries and upsetting people on the internet, but its first Koenigsegg seems shockingly subdued. The sand-colored exterior, carbon-fiber bits, and teal interior don’t overpower the Jesko’s already bold styling.
