This Porsche 911 GT3 Art Car Deserves to Be in a Collection
It has 11,000 miles on the odometer and costs $285,000. Worth it for the paint alone.
The Porsche 911 GT3 is fantastic for many reasons. The latest iteration nears perfection, but if you can’t get your hands on a new one, there’s one for sale across the pond that would grab anyone’s attention at the next car meet: a 2018 GT3 listed for sale in the Netherlands with an extremely interesting paint job.
The GT3 comes with all the goodies you’d want. It has carbon bucket seats with three-point racing belts, the Clubsport Pack, the Sport Chrono Pack, a Bose sound system, and a 23.7-gallon fuel tank. You also get the Picaso-like exterior, which the listing says was “entirely hand-painted by renowned artists.” The seller doesn't list their names, however.
Powering the 991.2 GT3 is Porsche’s 4.0-liter flat-six engine. It makes 500 horsepower and pairs with a seven-speed automatic gearbox. It can hit 62 miles per hour in 3.3 seconds. Whoever owned this 911 before deciding to sell drove it, putting 11,309 miles on the car since 2018.
The hand-painted Porsche isn’t cheap. The seller is asking €265,000 for the car, or $285,303 at today’s exchange rate. In case you don't like this one, here's an alternative: buy a brand-new one with zero miles for $225,000 and spend the remaining $60,000 to paint it however you want.
