Citroen Ami facelift: Interior in detail

No changes of substance in the interior of the Ami, which even after the restyling retains a cosy and practical interior.

The Citroen Ami has recently been updated with a major restyling, which mainly concerned aesthetics. Otherwise, the French electric quadricycle has retained much of its previous solutions, including the interior. In fact, the interior has not changed, retaining practicality and customisation possibilities.

Dashboard

The Ami is all about essential equipment, but it already has everything you need to get around town without any problems.

For example, we find a digital dashboard, which shows the main driving information, including remaining range and speed. Instead of a built-in infotainment system, there is a holder where you can plug in your smartphone and use it for navigation. Next to this holder, there is also a USB port for charging.

There is no shortage of storage compartments, including three large pockets behind the instrument panel and nets integrated into the door panels.

Materials and finish

The materials and finish are in line with Citroen's minimalist philosophy. Everything is designed to be practical and on an aesthetic level, the interior is quite pleasing.

Black plastic upholstery covers most of the cabin, but a range of coloured accessories and customisations can be chosen during configuration to liven up the Ami's interior.

Roominess and luggage compartment

What do you think?

Despite its very tight dimensions (it is 2.41 m long, 1.39 m wide, and 1.52 m high), the Ami is comfortable for the two passengers it can accommodate and space is optimised in the best possible way thanks to thin door panels and a dashboard designed to take up as little space as possible.

In addition, there is a 63-litre boot accessible directly from the inside: more than enough capacity to store small items or groceries.
