Chinese electric vehicle Rayttle E28 has been spotted in the city of Beijing.
If you think this is the Renault Twizy, you are wrong – these pictures, shared by CarNewsChina, display a Chinese clone of the French model, produced by the local manufacturer Zhejiang Litong New Energy Automobile Corporation. The model was launched in September 2014 and is produced in the city of Hangzhou.
The photos show the Rayttle E28 features the same exterior design as the Twizy. The only changes are the different wheels and the added lower part on the front bumper. The interior on the other side appears to be completely redesigned, featuring a new center console, steering wheel and air vents.
The top spec of the Chinese EV is powered by a 10.2 HP (7.5 kW) electric motor with 73.5 or 135 aH lithium-ion battery. According to our source, the range is claimed to be 130 km (80 miles) with single charge, while top speed reaches 80 km/h (50 mph).
