An authentic Lamborghini Countach was damaged during filming of "The Wolf of Wall Street" directed by Martin Scorsese.
The vehicle in question was a real Countach 25th Anniversary Edition from 1988 built for United States market, out of a total of 658 units produced between 1988 and 1990. The Italian supercar was built to celebrate Lamborghini's 25th anniversary and came with revised side skirts, narrower taillights, different air dam and improved engine cooling.
Repairs necessary to get the Countach back into shape are not major but the iconic 80s supercar needs a new headlight, front bumper, front quarter panel and hood. Taking into account the car's exclusivity, the repair bill will probably be huge even though damages are not significant.
The Wolf of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio was launched in United States on December 25, 2013.
